Today, Year 5 and 6 had the pleasure of joining Ross Welford for a chat over zoom. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Ross wasn't able to join us in person; however, did join us via Zoom. He spoke about his books, why he became an author, how he writes his books among other things. He took questions from the children and praised them for their quality. 

Afterward, the children were able to buy a copy of his book to keep. Names of all children who purchased a book or who had brought in one of their copies from home will be given to Ross, so he can complete a bookplate to go in each book, so the children still get their own signed copy. 

It was wonderful to get to talk to such an accomplished author, and we can continue to ask questions via email.
