Just before half term, Year 3 had spent the whole day learning about the mummification process as part of our topic 'Ancient Egypt'. We put what we had learnt to the test when it was our turn to mummify a fish. We made our very own amulets and death masks and wrote notes for the fish to take the the afterlife. It was a little smelly, but we had great fun! Here are some photos from the day.
