Last Thursday, our year 2 children spent some time outside in the sunshine working really hard to create algorithms (sets of instructions) to help each other navigate their way around eight mazes in the playground.

They had to use many soft skills to make a success of this challenge, but they rose to the occasion!  Their teamwork and communication was fantastic, along with the problem solving and logical thinking required to figure out each maze.

Who says you need computers to teach computing!
