Learn Like An Egyptian

A Superb Egyptian Day in Year 3

Year 3 had a really absorbing day exploring what life would have been like for an Ancient Egyptian.

They started the day with a hearty breakfast of bread and milk, followed by learning about the different jobs roles from 3000 years ago. The children learnt how to write their names in hieroglyphics and solve maths problems using the Ancient Egyptian number system. What a fabulous skill to learn!

This afternoon the children made their very own death masks and begun to learn about the afterlife. They were fascinated by many of the things which they learned.

Year 3 would like to say a huge thank you for all of your support with the amazing costumes the children wore yesterday. What a busy and fun day we have had!
