Today the Year 6's had the fantastic opportunity to try wheelchair basketball. This opportunity was provided to us by Enable Ability, a local charity who works in the local community to support those with disabilities and educate children on the issue as well.

As part of their session, the children learnt how to direct the wheelchair, brake, pick up a ball, move with the ball and pass. This then ended in a very competitive game of basketball with the children taking turns to play. 

This has been a great opportunity and the children have learnt so much. We thank Enable Ability greatly for providing such a unique opportunity for them.
