The children in Year R have had some very exciting visitors over the last few weeks. We have been learning about the life cycle of butterflies and have been lucky to observe our very own caterpillars change into beautiful butterflies. The children waited patiently as the caterpillars grew bigger, made their chrysalis then emerged as butterflies. The final part of the process was to release them in the environmental area. It was wonderful to see how excited the children were by this project. Well done Year R!
