Beach Clean Part 2

Last week, Mrs Metcalfe and I took the second group of School Councillors to Southsea Beach to do a beach clean. We again had lunch at the beach hut and then walked through the Rose Gardens and Canoe Lake to start our clean by South Parade Pier. We noticed how much rubbish there was on the grass at the Canoe Lake!

We battled with the wind on the beach but still managed to find some rubbish, not as much as last time but maybe that was because the sun was shining previously and more people were out.

Once again, we had people praising our attempts to tidy up the beach and the bonus was……Mrs Metcalfe didn’t lose anything this time!!!
