Around 12 million tonnes of plastic enter our oceans every year! That’s a full rubbish truck every minute! Some of our Green Team members gave a thought-provoking assembly on Wednesday: sharing important information about the effects of single-use plastic on our environment and helping us to think about ways in which we might be able to help by raising awareness and by reducing our own plastic use. We have been challenged to take part in a poster competition - make sure you're in school this week so you don't miss out on this opportunity!

Also, we will be joined by a team of teaching students from the University of Chichester, who will be running eco-schools workshops across the school this coming week.
