The children of The Flying Bull Academy simply would not have the same experience at school without the huge efforts of our Friends who work so hard to raise money for us.

The range of fundraising events which they organise have become a vital and exciting part of our school calendar. The attendance and generosity of the friends and families of our children at these events has meant that we could request nearly £7000 in donations from FOFBA.

Here are just some of the things The Friends of Flying Bull have donated during 2018:

• Chairs for the school hall for family members to sit on during school performances
• Covering the cost of our Patron for Reading - Ali Sparkes
• £2000 for reading books
• Money to ensure school trips in a range of year groups can go ahead
• Children's drinking water bottles
• Treats for Christmas and class parties
• Silly Scott the Magician
• Flowers for the school grounds
