Many of our parents and carers will have been involved with the family reading projects that ran last year to support families to support their children with reading at home.

We had plenty of very positive feedback from the children and families that were involved and as such we were determined to broaden the project out this year to include more families. Some of these projects have launched already and some will launch within the coming weeks.

Providing the books for these projects is a costly affair so we are extremely grateful to the Siobhan Dowd Trust for agreeing to fund these additional projects with a grant of £1200. This ensures that we are able to provide quality books for all of the families who are involved with these projects.
