A Taste of Greece at Steki's Restaurant

Year 5 took a trip to Steki's in Southsea

Year 5 had an exciting morning at Steki’s Greek Restaurant, Southsea recently. Their host was Katherine, who made them feel very welcome and who was enthusiastic about Greek food. All the children had the opportunity to cook a chicken souvlaki skewer, a meatball and pitta bread on the grill. They loved squeezing lemon juice on the grill when the flames appeared! They also made a Greek salad of tomatoes, cucumber and feta cheese with an olive oil dressing. Some children were involved in making potato balls and Katherine also fried chips for them. At a long table, the feast was very well welcomed and enjoyed by all. Great thanks to Katherine and we highly recommend a visit to Steki’s Greek restaurant.
